The Story Behind the Peace Talisman
For over 1,800 years, the Zhengyi Daoist masters of Mt. Longhu (龙虎山) have consecrated talismans using rituals passed down through 63 generations of Celestial Masters. The Peace Talisman is the most universal — it doesn’t discriminate by age, zodiac, or life situation. It simply says: may you be safe.
In traditional Chinese families, the Ping An Fu was never “bought.” It was qing (请) — respectfully invited — often before a long journey, a new chapter, or simply because someone you love is far from home.

How to Use Your Peace Talisman
Step 1: Receive with intention. Hold the talisman gently. Take a breath. Silently say: “I welcome the peace and protection of Mt. Longhu into my life.”
Step 2: Choose your placement.
- On your person: Fold and place in your wallet, purse, or phone case
- For travel: Place in your car’s glove compartment or behind the sun visor
- For home: Place above your front door or near your bedside
Step 3: Care with respect. Keep dry and clean. When the talisman has served its cycle (traditionally one year), respectfully burn it and let the ashes return to the earth.

Every talisman at Dehui Hall traces its lineage to the Zhengyi Daoist tradition of Mt. Longhu, Jiangxi Province — the birthplace of Daoism.
