The ‘Taiji Couple’ takes the form of the embracing yin-yang fish with a double loop that can be divided or joined, symbolizing two people in complementary balance — hard and soft rooted in each other, complete as one. The Taiji is foundational to the Daoist view of the cosmos, harmonizing yin and yang in ceaseless transformation, and traditionally read as a sign that resolves sha and steadies the field. Rendered in two-tone silver-and-black cupronickel with gilt eyes — minimalist yet profound.

(FAQ) | Frequently Asked Questions
(How is the Taiji couple necklace worn?)
• The pendant has a double loop, allowing two ways: wear it whole as one complete Taiji on one person, or have two people each take a half (threading one loop apiece) so that together they form a full Taiji — symbolizing complementary yin-yang and being a matched pair. As a couple’s token, the second is customary, meaning mutual completion.
(Why is the Taiji said to balance yin-yang and dispel sha?)
• The Taiji symbolizes the Daoist cosmos: the yin and yang fish generate and balance each other in ceaseless cycle, representing dynamic equilibrium of opposites — which is why Feng Shui and Daoism use it as an emblem of harmonizing energy, resolving clash and calming. This piece carries that cultural meaning and has been duly empowered (Jiachi) — a couple’s wearable token of blessing.
